I'm Dr. Priya Menon, a licensed psychologist based in Bangalore. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationships, burnout, and the weight of everyday life.
I'm a trained psychologist with 8 years in practice, and I work with both individuals and couples. I completed my MA in Clinical Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore, and began private practice because I wanted to offer care that felt deeply personal rather than rushed.
My approach is integrative - drawing on CBT, mindfulness, and person-centred therapy. I believe that healing happens in a relationship of genuine trust and safety. I won't give you a to-do list and call it therapy.
Clients often tell me that sessions feel like finally being able to say what they've been unable to say anywhere else. That's what I'm here for.

We'll spend the first session getting to know each other. You share what's brought you here. There's no pressure to have everything figured out - that's what we work on together.
Sessions are 50 minutes, typically weekly or fortnightly. We move at your pace. Some things shift quickly; others take time. I'll be honest with you about what I observe.
Everything you share stays between us. All sessions - in-person or online - are strictly confidential.

We talk. I ask about what's brought you here, a bit about your life and background, and what you're hoping for. There's no formal assessment - it's a conversation.
Yes. Confidentiality is fundamental to therapy. Nothing you share leaves the session, with very limited legal exceptions which I'll explain at the start.
Yes. I work with clients across India via video call. Online therapy is just as effective for most concerns, and many clients prefer the privacy and convenience.
It varies enormously. Some clients see significant shifts in 8-12 sessions. Others work with me for a year or more. We discuss this openly as we go and you always have a say in the pace.
There's no pressure and no commitment in getting in touch.
